BRIDGEWATER -- Today firefighters from across the area gathered for the annual firefighter's parade in Bridgewater.

The parade has been going on for more than sixty years.

It features businesses from across the region who showcase their skills and products.

It's also a great opportunity for people sitting in the crowd to grab free treats.

"It's a family thing for me to bring my granddaughter and for Bailey's other grandma to come and her uncle to get together and have a good time," said Pam Wilberger, who has attended the parade for over nine years.

All the money raised through the parade makes up more than half of the Bridgewater volunteer fire department's budget.
