Annual Plane Pull Benefits Fairfield Center

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- One area organization is raising funds in a creative way by having teams of people pull an airplane.

The Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport hosted the Seventh Annual Plane Pull.

The event raises money for the Fairfield Center, which is a non-profit that helps kids and families with conflict resolution and mediation.

One person who tried to pull a plane talked about his experience.

"It was really hard, it was tough, you go from zero to a hundred miles per hour in no time and your heart is racing and you're feeling pretty tough, so it was fun, it was a blast," says Michael Buczynski.

The Fairfield Center hopes to raise about $10,000 dollars from this event.
