HARRISONBURG -- Area business leaders met today at Eastern Mennonite University to discuss health care reform. Business owners attended to find out how the reform will impact their operation.

Several health insurance representatives answered questions on how the reform will affect businesses. Timothy Jost, a leading expert in the Affordable Health Care Act, summarized the changes in health care in just more than 10 minutes.

The seminar was well-received, and many area business owners found the information much-needed.

"Once the noise about it clears up, will prove to be very beneficial to not only businesses, but also to the many individuals who cannot afford or obtain insurance," said Anthony Smith, President of Secure Futures.

The reform will require any business with more than 50 employees working 30 hours or more to provide health insurance.
