AUGUSTA COUNTY Augusta County Board of Supervisors present a resolution to remember a colleague and friend. David R Beyeler passed on February 12 after more than 25 years of service.

Board members spoke highly of Beyeler. He was the senior member of the Augusta County Board of Supervisors. He was elected twice by his colleagues as Vice Chairman and twice as Chairman. He served a variety of other roles, on over 25 committees, boards, and commissions. His fellow board member say he will be missed.

"He was just such a valuable member to us, he had such an institutional knowledge. It was just a way we could honor him. His wife was present and we were able to present that to her and her son, and our board deeply misses Mr. Beyeler and wanted to honor him officially," said Larry J Wills, Middle River District Supervisor.

The resolution offered thanks and appreciation, saying he richly deserved it.
