AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va –- There are still plenty of things to do and see before the county fair ends. In addition to the normal food, games, and rides, shows are happening in the grandstand area.

Friday night, there was a truck and tractor pull and a concert by the Goodson Band.

The Augusta County Fair Marketing Director Ellen Shaver-Shank said so far, this year's fair has been very well attended.

“This year's fair is going great,” said Shaver-Shank. “We're really pleased with the number of people who have been in to see us. It's been good attendance every night so far. Its been an exciting fair.”

Shaver-Shank also said that people should come out to see how their friends have done in the different produce and livestock contests.

Saturday night, the fair will conclude with another tractor pull as well as “midget and female wrestling.”
