AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- Augusta Health has many community events planned when it celebrates its anniversary in September.
In addition free health screenings at Lifetime Fitness from 3-7 p.m. on Sept. 10 and Sept.18 and a Hospital Open House from 3-7 p.m. on Sept. 24, the Augusta Health Foundation will host its first fund-raising gala on Sept. 12 at the former Moss Museum in Waynesboro.
Tickets are $100 per person, and proceeds from the gala will benefit the Augusta Health Cancer Center’s Bridge Fund for patients.
The Gala Planning Committee has been working for several months on the event.

The month will end with an open house celebrating Augusta Health’s newest facility, the Waynesboro Outpatient Center, on Lew Dewitt Boulevard on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
