AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va -- Middle school students from Staunton, Waynesboro and Augusta County got an inside look at a career in medicine at Augusta Health.
Eighteen students learned everything from blood pressure checks to life saving techniques, like CPR. They also took a tour of the hospital, where they saw the ambulance garage and sleep lab.
Students who are interested in a future career in medicine were recruited for the three day camp by guidance counselors.
This is the second year Augusta Health has offered the camp.
