AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- Augusta Health will be expanding once again.
The hospital outlined plans to develop two Augusta County properties into outpatient offices.
Both will include doctor's offices, an urgent care area, a lab and an imaging center.
Augusta Health will be renovating a building on Lew Dewitt Boulevard in Waynesboro and other location is in Stuarts Draft.
Lisa Schwenk at Augusta Health said the new offices will be a big step helping patients access the care they need.
"It should be a nice facility for the people of both areas to have primary care in many fashions. the lab is there, they won't have to come all the way to the hospital to get their lab drawn. they can get their lab done there, even if their doctor is somewhere else," said Schwenk.
Augusta Health expects the work to be finished on the Waynesboro office by March, and the Stuarts Draft office by September.
