A baby boy is in critical condition after an incident in Shenandoah County.

Authorities tell TV3 that a 20-month-old boy was flown to the hospital at the University of Virginia Monday after a call was received that he was not breathing. It happened around 5 p.m. Monday afternoon at Valley Vista Apartments in Woodstock. He was one of three children at home when the call came in from a family member.

The two other children, who were both around one year old were taken by child protective services and placed with other family members.

Authorities aren’t saying what exactly happened Monday afternoon. They do say that the 20-month-old is on life support at UVA. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
