Waynesboro A bad acorn crop has taken a toll on Virginia's bears. The Wildlife Center of Virginia in Waynesboro says they have taken in eight bears this year.

The center says, because there were so few acorns last year, the bears weren't able to store up enough food to last them through hibernation.

Right now, Workers are nursing the bears, which are expected to make a full recovery.
