Bed and Breakfast Gets Prestigious Award

A Harrisonburg bed and breakfast inn earned a significant honor from a popular travel website this week.

The bed and breakfast, Stonewall Jackson Inn, was named guests’ favorite for 2011. The award was granted by the website BNBFinder.

It won the award based on guests comments and independent reviews and comments.

“Yes, I am very gratified and thankful and very surprised to get this award. Whenever you get an award, then you have to strive real hard to meet everyone’s expectations and requirements because the bar is raised with every award,” said owner Wayne Engel.

This is the low point for the season at this inn, so if you want to see what guests were voting on, now is a good time.
