Boeing 777 Crashes in San Francisco

San Francisco 11:47 P.M.

All people are accounted for on the plane according to the San Francisco Fire Chief.

Two people are dead and dozens were taken to the hospital. 10 people are in critical condition.

4:28 P.M.

An Asiana Airlines flight from Seoul, South Korea, crashed while landing at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday, forcing passengers to jump down the emergency inflatable slides to safety. Rescue crews on the scene do not know if there are are injuries at this time.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Laura Brown said the Boeing 777 was supposed to land on runway 28 left at the airport. She said they are still not sure why the plane crashes but it looks like the plane landed and then crashed.


3:30 P.M.

The Federal Aviation Administration says a Boeing 777 operated by Asiana Airlines flight crashes while landing at San Francisco airport; injuries unknown .
