LOVINGSTON, Va. (AP) -- The suspect in the disappearance of a Nelson County teenager is set to appear in court for a bond hearing.

Forty-eight-year-old Randy Allen Taylor has been held without bond since his arrest on Aug. 11. The bond hearing is scheduled for Thursday afternoon in Nelson County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

The News & Advance reports that Judge A. Ellen White has closed the hearing to the public because the circuit court has ordered search warrants sealed, and the case is still under investigation.

Taylor is charged with abduction in the disappearance of 17-year-old Alexis Murphy of Lovingston. He has maintained his innocence.
