Bus Rollover Causes Delays on Interstate 81

SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- A charter bus rollover caused backups on Interstate 81 on Thursday afternoon.

The accident, which happened just before 1:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes, caused one minor injury, which was treated at the scene. The bus had 15 passengers.

A school bus was called in to take in the passengers. Emergency services left the scene at 2 p.m.

At one point, northbound traffic was reported to be backed up about six miles.
