Cab Company Prepares For More Business During Big Game

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- With the big game on Sunday, there are extra patrols out on the roads in Harrisonburg this weekend. If you aren't able to drive yourself home, there are other options.

Yellow Cab Company Operations Manager Clo Rodeffer says they say they expect a huge increase in calls due to the game.

Rodeffer says Yellow Cab will have more people working Sunday night.

If there's a wait to get your cab, she says it's worth it.

"Cab fare is a whole lot less expensive than getting that ticket. Having a first class misdemeanor put on your record. If we're running behind or it takes a little longer to get there, go back inside watch a little bit more of the TV, hang out with your friends and we'll pick you up and take you home safely," said Rodeffer.

Dispatch will answer the phones 24 hours a day for the Yellow Cab Company.
