WAYNESBORO -- An unlucky accident at the Lucky Dollar in Waynesboro.... It happened this morning when a parked car bounced over a curb, rolled down the hill and crashed into the front of the store.

The car crashed right into the doors, shattering the glass. The car rolled back to the middle of the parking lot after impact.

Store owner Alyson Valente talked to the owner of the car, who says he forgot to set the parking brake.

And it is not the first time something like this has happened at the plaza.

"The pillars... A lot of times it has hit the pillars," Valente said. "It's hit one of the storefronts previously. It has happened enough to be annoying. Bottom line is people need to put their parking brakes on, absolutely. Without parking brakes, we have oops and bad days."

The store was able to open its doors to customers today...but, Valente says, only after the fire department helped them actually get the doors open.
