A new form of transportation will arrive to James Madison University on Thursday.
Zip Car is a car-sharing network that works like renting a car.
These are already two spots are already reserved for the zipcars.
Students and people who live in the area will be able to sign up to to rent a car.
JMU Traffic Manager Lee Eschelman said zipcars will make it easier for students to go back home, if they don't live in the area.
He said they think the program will be as popular as the ride sharing program.
"I think it's gonna grow. We'll start with two cars and I wouldn't be surprised if by May we have six so I think it's gonna be an asset and a good selling point for the university," Lee Eschelman said.
To rent this car, students have to be 18 and older.
Community members have to be 21 years old.
