CHURCHVILLE, Va. (WHSV)-- Stefanie Bartley is living out her dream of meeting the health needs of her community. Bartley came up with the idea with a friend in college and now it is a reality with the help of area churches.

Churches in Churchville are starting a health equipment loan program where people who need the medical care can loan or borrow medical equipment.

The program will start in September, but there is a way for you to help out. A drive will take place on Jul. 26 to help stock the building with gently-used pieces of medical equipment.

"And so I thought 'wow' what a cool idea to do and so I shared it with my pastor and it's just grown and grown to the point where now it's a four church community collaboration where the four main churches of Churchville are kind of doing this together," said Bartley.

You can find more information on the groups Facebook page.
