A local project to help boys and girls with prom and graduation is in need. The Cinderella Project is looking for donations of formal items to help needy kids attend their formal events.
The Cinderella Project has a lot of dresses, but is in need of particular sizes, including 16 and up and between 0 and 5. They also have a need for boys black pants, shoes, and a variety of other items. We spoke with a girl who the project is giving items for prom who wouldn't have been able to afford to attend otherwise. She told us they are providing an important service.
"It really helps, because with me and my situation, I can't go out to spend the money, and I really wouldn't be able to go to prom if I didn't have Cinderella Project," said Rachel Nye, a Wilson High School senior.
