HARRISONBURG -- The city of Harrisonburg will move forward with its plan to add another roundabout to the city.
According to Vice-Mayor Chenault, not much negative feedback was received regarding the plan for the roundabout at the intersection of Carlton street and reservoir street.
The city is looking to secure the final construction plans for the project and right away acquisitions from McDonald's and Sam's hot dog stand.
"This is a fairly new concept in Harrisonburg. In fact, probably on this side of the mountain. In fact probably in Virginia," said Vice-Mayor Charles Chenault.
The project will cost the city over a million dollars. Vice-Mayor Chenault says the city also plans to add a third roundabout to the city in the near future.
