College Board Releases New SAT Sample Questions

STAUNTON, Va. (WHSV) -- Last month, the College Board announced a redesign of the SAT and now they've released some sample questions for the new test.

Russ Ingersoll, a college and career counselor with Harbor Counseling Services said the new test digs deeper.

"They're really getting more into careful analysis in both the reading, the writing and the math. They're talking about being able to problem solve at a much deeper and complex level than previous tests."

The changes go into effect in 2016, meaning this year's ninth graders will be the first high school graduating class to take the new test.
