HARRISONBURG, Va.--- James Madison University students will make up the snow days on two consecutive Saturdays.
April 5 will be the official day for classes canceled on March 3. In addition, March 29 will be a make up day for classes canceled on March 4.
Professors would have the chance to hold a class on those days. They could also hold classes at other times acceptable to class members.
They could also hold a class online or accommodate the material with the classes.
Jarrett Nguyen said he had an optional make up class on a Saturday but he did not go.
"I think it is a waste of people's times. No one is in the mindset to go to a class for an hour and 15 minutes, just give them the notes online and they will be fine," said Nguyen.
He said unless it is mandatory, he will not go to a Saturday class.
