ELKTON, Va. (WHSV) -- The newly revitalized Friends of the Elkton Area Community Center choose its new logo after receiving multiple submissions from East Rockingham High School students.
The FEACC recently achieved status as a 501 (c) 3 organization and voted to design a fresh logo to help brand its mission and vision.
Recognizing that there is much talent here in the Valley, the FEACC partnered with East Rockingham High School Art Club students to offer a logo design contest.
The art students submitted their branding logo ideas to the FEACC board who selected one of the submissions to serve as the new logo.
The board recognized the contest winner, Hayley McGraw, along with the other logo contest participants, Sarah King, Katie Ellen, Jake Borg, and Gemma Youngman, at the Dec. 16 Elkton Town Council meeting.
Each of their submissions were displayed and will also be displayed in the commons area display case at East Rockingham High School.
