RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- A joint venture is bringing Atlantic deep sea red crab to Virginia.

Gov. Bob McDonnell says the F/V Hannah Boden delivered Virginia's first catch of red crab on Wednesday in Hampton. The commercial fishing vessel was used in the movie, "The Perfect Storm."

The expansion of Virginia's seafood industry is a joint venture between two Virginia-based companies, L.D. Armory Co., Inc. and Graham & Rollins, Inc. and Massachusetts-based Atlantic Red Crab Company.

The companies say the F/V Hannah Boden will relocate to Hampton in July. The fishing vessel will deliver about 10,000 pounds of Atlantic deep sea red crabs a week.
