HARRISONBURG, Va. -- People here in the valley dropped off postcards to Congressman Goodlatte's office this weekend, calling for immigration reform.
Members of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church participated in the event led by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
The group is asking for a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants.
"We have welcomed all the hundreds and hundreds of letters that we have received on immigration. They would like us to take action on this and we certainly want to do that too, but on the terms that I outlined to you. The step by step approach that addresses enforcement," said Congressman Bob Goodlatte.
He maintains that he does not support the Senate bill on immigration.
