SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va – Some neighbors are supporting a petition to oust all the members of the board of supervisors from their current positions of leadership in the county.

The creators of a Facebook group and a separate web site say they want to get rid of the current board of supervisors members. They petition the conduct of the board over the past few years. They also say the board has been incompetent.

Right now, the petition has a few supporters in the county. Dennis Morris, one board of supervisors member, said the petition does not worry him.

“Our board is a very conservative, proactive board, so as a board, we're not worried about what these few individuals are trying to do,” said Morris. “We're trying to move forward, work hard for our citizens.”

Petition supporters are using social media and a petition web site to get their message heard.
