Crash Kills Luray Man

A vehicle crash kills a man from Luray.

Virginia State Police say 24-year old Todd William Cubbage II, was killed Sunday morning after he lost control of a 1994 Honda.

Police say Cubbage was driving along Route 637, Bryant Hollow Road.

That's just north of Route 602, or East Point Road in Elkton.

Police say he then he ran off the left side of the roadway and hit a tree.

Cubbage was ejected from his car.

Police say speed was a factor in that crash.

Trooper DJ Bowman investigated the crash, along with the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office and the Elkton Emergency Squad and Elkton Volunteer Fire Company.
