Jeff Lohr who is the Fire Chief with Broadway Fire said fire happened at 2368 Huff Trail. The original dispatch was a structure fire. It was a garage.

Building Destroyed by Fire

Rockingham County - UPDATE:
Jeff Lohr who is the Fire Chief with Broadway Fire said fire happened at 2368 Huff Trail. The original dispatch was a structure fire. It was a garage.

It was a total loss. there is no known cause. There were no injuries.

Broadway, Timberville, and New Market responded. There were tools stored in the garage. Took about 20 minutes to put out fire.


Fire crews are responding to a structure fire in George Washington and Jefferson National Forest.

The call came in around 10:50 p.m. from the 2300 block of Huff Trail.

We have a reporter on scene who says the building on fire looks like a barn or garage. We're told everyone made it out of the building safely.
