HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) Along with Halloween comes lots of candy. The best advice for keeping your kid's teeth healthy is to brush and floss regularly.

"They are going to eat things throughout the course of the year and Halloween is really no different. (There) might be a little bit more binging going on, but as long as the teeth are kept clean, really that's going to be saving grace," said Dr. Greg Johnson who is a Dentist at SmileMakers.

Dr. Johnson said straight teeth are a lot easier to keep clean. He recommends braces for those who may need some alignment.
