Deputies: Woman Arrested For Stealing Cell Phones

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- Deputies arrested a Staunton woman on Saturday after they say she stole phones from a store last week.

Clarissa Lam, 21, now faces a grand larceny charge.

Last week, she went to the nTelos Wireless store in the Staunton Mall and shoplifted two phones worth a combined $600, according to the Augusta County Sheriff's Office.

The store later received an anonymous call to report the crime.

The store manager knew Lam, notified law enforcement and deputies later arrested Lam.
