HARRISONBURG -- On a snow day, most of us get to sleep in, but for Hannah Curley, a waitress and bartender, it was business as usual at Billy Jacks.

Luckily for people in walking distance to downtown, the restaurant was open.

Curley saw a good crowd and she said being one of the only restaurants open made a difference.

"It was pretty quiet at the beginning then all of a sudden we got hit, and from there it just took off. We had a few people working so that definitely helped out. I think everyone had a good time that came in," said Curley.

Taste of Downtown is still going on through Sunday.

Billy Jacks was not only open, but offering their $1.50 sliders.
