LANHAM, Md. (WHSV)-- Rescue crews tried to release the people who were stuck more than 45 feet above the ground. The crews even handed out umbrellas to protect from the blazing hot sun.

A statement from the park says none of the passengers were injured, and they are investigating why the ridge computer system caused the ride to stop.

If you've never heard of the ride jokers jynx, it's known for its speed. It quickly takes riders from zero to 60 mile per hour in just three seconds.
