The Valley is now home to the largest solar-powered system in Virginia as Eastern Mennonite University went online Monday with its solar energy panels.
The panels are installed on the roof of EMU's library and are able to provide solar energy to the entire campus.
Students and faculty feel they helping maintain a clean environment and they are preserving God's Creation perspective, as well as saving the school money.
