HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Harrisonburg police arrested a 22-year-old Elkton man, who now faces multiple child pornography charges.
On June 3, investigators with the Harrisonburg Police Department arrested Corinthian J. Sublett, on two felony counts of aggravated sexual batter, two felony counts of manufacturing child pornography, and two felony counts of distribution of child pornography.
Sublett had been communicating with a police officer online, whom was acting in an undercover capacity, and was sending the officer pictures of child pornography, according to police.
The case concluded with a search warrant at Sublett’s residence in which additional pieces of evidence were obtained that are now being forensically analyzed to determine if additional charges will be placed.
This investigation was worked in coordination with the Northern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, which the Harrisonburg Police Department is a member of. Also assisting in the investigation were the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI.
