WAYNESBORO -- A Valley entrepreneur wants to help neighbors help each other and provide an energy efficient space for growth. William Drumeller created Very Cool Space as a low-cost option for those looking to take their home business into an office environment.
Very Cool Space relies on design and environmental responsibility to succeed. The building is on Rosser Avenue. It'll be a place for people to meet, work and collaborate. The idea is to grow business in Waynesboro.
The builder also built an energy-efficient house through his company called Responsible Space. Drumeller says it's the most efficient building he's ever seen, and that this type of collaboration is a lifestyle choice.
"We want to create a community of houses like this. We want to have these houses built so that the person living beside each other and down the street they live in these houses because they share the same type of values," says Drumeller.
He hopes both buildings will become a part of the community. That includes supporting initiatives like riding a bike or walking to work or your home.
