WAYNESBORO, Va. (WHSV) A few people in Waynesboro received the financial support they will need to jump start their businesses in the downtown area Tuesday night.

More than $10,000 were divided between two individuals.

One of the two plans on continuing a food truck venture.

"We really feel that the title ignite Waynesboro did exactly what we wanted it to. It really invigorated people and gave them, kind of the incentive that they needed to really put their good ideas on paper and to be able to pitch them to the community at large," said Christina Cain, the executive director of the Staunton Creative Community Fund.

It's all part of 'Ignite Waynesboro'.
