HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- JMU's Festival Center hosted a study abroad fair for international week Thursday.
This fair happens every year during international week and highlights all of the study abroad opportunities available for students
Students who attended the fair heard from 70 different programs that are available through JMU.
Those with the study abroad fair say this event has continued to grow every year.
This year, the fair brought in more than 600 students.
Andrew Centofante, a JMU graduate who participated in one of the programs, said this experience pushed him to try new things.
"It really pushed my outside of my comfort zone. I got to see a lot of different cultures and see a lot of different types of people. And, what is really great about it is the global comparative nature of the program. So, being able to see how things worked in China versus how things worked in India versus how things worked in a country like Ghana. It really opened my eyes," said Centofante.
JMU's Office of International Programs puts on this event every year and said it's a great way to expand student's horizons.
