PAGE COUNTY -- A family of five is starting over after a fire destroyed their home on Tuesday. Investigators say the fire likely started due to an electrical problem.

Sarah Lawrence and John Breeden, her fiance, said the phone call they received Tuesday night changed their lives.

"We were panicking. We were trying to get home as fast as we could when we heard our house was possibly on fire," Breeden said.

Lawrence's home was built by her father, so it had plenty of sentimental value. Now Lawrence's childhood home is destroyed as well as her family's belongings and heirlooms. She lived there with Breeden and three children.

Lawrence and Breeden said it's what they lost inside their home that hurts the most.

"It's depressing. We just try to joke about it. We have each other. We weren't home when it happened, so thank God nobody was hurt. It's just stuff that can be replaced," Breeden said, "When you pick up something you find here all burned up. It's hard. There's a lot of it."

They're thankful good neighbors helped them recover.

"Some of the neighbors have been bringing us hot meals during the day and sandwiches," Lawrence said

They're glad no one was hurt and said the fire brought their family closer together.

There are several things the family found which aren't salvageable.

The family will rely on good neighbors in the coming months.
