HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- If you plan on attending former President Bill Clinton's visit to Harrisonburg Tuesday there are a few things you should know.

Bring as few personal items as possible.

Cameras will be allowed, but some restricted items include umbrellas, sharp objects and liquids.

Also, no signs will be allowed inside the building.

Clinton will be joining Terry McAuliffe at JMU's Festival Conference and Student Center at 10:30 a.m. and the doors for the event open at 9:30.

To attend the event, you must have a ticket.

After running out of tickets earlier, the Harrisonburg Democratic Committee has announced there are more tickets available to Tuesday's event.

Joe Fitzgerald, the Democratic chair for the 6th Congressional District, said even though there will be an increased security presence, their goal is to make the event run as smooth as possible so people can focus on the message itself.

"President Clinton will be bringing a few things with him. He will be bringing Terry McAuliffe, his record of job growth in the 90s and he will be bringing the Secret Service. So you can't bring in an umbrella, you can't bring in anything sharp, you cant' bring any large bags. Mainly we just want people there with their pocket cameras to get a good message and some good memories from it," said Fitzgerald.

The festival building was chosen because it's in a good location.

It's close to the interstate, in a beautiful area and most importantly it can hold enough people.

With Clinton coming Tuesday, every living Democratic president will now have visited Harrisonburg.
