Fire Damages a Harrisonburg Townhouse

A Harrisonburg townhouse catches fire and nearly displaces residents.

It happened after midnight in the Pheasant Run Townhomes - a student living community off of Rocco Drive.

Firefighters had to strip the siding off the back of the home due to fire damage.

Officials say the fire began in the attic, but it is unclear what started that blaze.

No one was injured and the home is still livable.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
