VERONA, Va. (WHSV) -- The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank is is getting a makeover.
Leaders said they are thrilled about updates to the Verona facility as it will help them receive and give more food to people in need.
"This renovation is very exciting. There's nothing worse at a food bank then having to turn away a tractor trailer load of food because you don't have enough space for it. In a year, that won't be happening. We'll be saying, bring it on," said Michael McKee, the CEO of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
The food bank serves more than 120,000 people a month.
