HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- Ford has recalled 370,000 cars for potential corrosion to the steering shaft. The corrosion could cause loss of steering.

2005 to 2011 models of Crown Victorias, Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Cars are included in the recall.

The Harrisonburg Police Department has some of these cars; however, its cars are made specifically for police departments and Ford will send the department a recall notice, if needed.

Dealers will inspect cars and if necessary, they may replace the lower and upper intermediate shaft and re-secure the lower steering column.
