Several offenders were arrested Thursday morning by members of the Harrisonburg Police Department after an overnight robbery.
Wednesday, Sept. 5, around 11:30 p.m., three males (ages 18, 17 and 16-years-old) reported they were victims of an armed robbery.
The incident happened at a parking lot in the 1300 block of Hunters Rd. Police said several offenders approached the three male victims, displayed a firearm and demanded the victims' personal belongings. Police reported that a wallet, cell phone, and money were taken from the victims.
According to police, after the incident, the offenders fled from the scene in a vehicle.
“The Department’s patrol officers and investigators did an excellent job in quickly canvassing the area and developing suspects, which led to the apprehension of these violent offenders,” said Lieutenant Chris Rush, Criminal Investigations Division Commander.
There were no reported injuries from this incident. Several items of evidence, including items used during the robbery and items taken during the robbery, have been recovered.
The four men charged in this incident, along with their mugshots, are as follows:
Jaivon Wilson, 19, of Winchester, was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and the use of a firearm while in the commission of a felony.
