The Fresh Air Fund got together today to beat the heat with a pool party. Decked out in swimwear, both the host families and the kids took a dip.

The Fresh Air kids arrived on Friday just in time for the storm that passed through the valley. The storm frightened many of the kids and their families back home.

The people in charge of the kids received many phone calls about their safety this past weekend. All of the kids are safe, and they are helping out some of the damaged community.

"We had a big limb fall down at our place, and our fresh air child was pitching right in and cleaning up the trees and limbs and branches for us. So, it was a new experience for them."

The fresh air fund is constantly looking for new host families. You can learn more about it at freshair.org.
