DAYTON, Va –- This year, the Giving Tree is at Braithewaite Studios, an art studio and it will help 45 children.

The tree's organizer, hoped she would get gifts for every child this holiday season. Gifts include toys and things families and their children need.

Jane Braithewaite, the studio's co-owner, said she knows the Dayton community will help out.

“It absolutely is not a problem for the church groups and fellow citizens to come up and say, 'Listen, I've noticed a need and let me offer a solution.' They're wonderful people, and they always step up,” said Braithewaite.

Neighbors can stop by the art studio and coffee shop to pick up a name in the next couple of weeks. The last day for donating gifts is Dec. 20th.
