ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WHSV)-- On Wednesday night, the Goo Goo Dolls and Chris Daughtry will perform at the Rockingham County Fair.

The Goo Goo Dollars have sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, since 1986. The lead singer of the group, John Rzeznik says part of the tour is going towards helping the Wounded Warrior Project. He says the show is going to be massive, and a lot of fun.

"People are going to know all of the songs they hear, they can sing along," says Rzeznik. "It is a big rock show we put together. It is going to be a great night out, you know playing outside in the summer is always such a great experience for people I think."

Chris Daughtry is also performing at the concert on Wednesday. The singer has sold 7.5 million albums worldwide. He says performing in small towns and counties, like Rockingham County, is always a great experience.

"Probably because they get overlooked, so we enjoy those small towns because the come out in big numbers and they come out full of excitement," says Daughtry.
