Harrisonburg, Va. (WHSV)-- The high-tech, limited toy, Google Glass has been spotted here in the Valley. Right now, the only way to get a Google Glass is through an invitation.

The glass connects to Android and iPhones. It allows you to take pictures, make videos, search Google, use apps available and more.

Chiedo John who is the CEO of his own tech company in the Valley, Chiedo Labs.

"The world isn't exactly ready for Google Glass which is going to be a huge barrier. You walk into a restaurant with this or you're driving with this, it's just bad news. I think as we get more into technology as the trends have shown, Google Glass will have a lot more success, but right now it's before its time," said John.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the glass will be available at the end of the year for the general public.
