STAUNTON, Va. (WHSV)-- The case against a 16 year-old facing a first-degree murder charge has been pushed back until July 2nd.
The Gypsy Hill murder case received a lot of attention here locally when a man was found dead inside the park earlier this month.
Julian Parrot, 26, was later identified as the man who was murdered. A 16 year-old later admitted to the crime.
One of the big questions surrounding this case is whether or not the teen will be tried as an adult.
Right now, the teen accused of murder is expected to be back in court on July 2nd. If he is convicted of first-degree murder, he could face life in prison.
