HARRISONBURG - UPDATE: 12:45 a.m. 7/13/2014
On Saturday, July 12, 2014 at approximately 9:49 p.m. the Harrisonburg Police Department responded to an Armed Robbery at the Auto Zone location at 340 North Mason St. Upon arrival officers received a description of a skinny male, approximately 5’ 9” in height, wearing light colored jeans and a camouflage hooded sweatshirt pulled tight over his head. The male had a black ski-mask with a camouflage mask over top and wore sunglasses. After the robbery, the male fled the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing and we ask anyone with information about this incident to contact the Harrisonburg Police Department at 540-434-4436.

UPDATE: 10:45 p.m. 7/12/2014
A worker at the 7-11 on North Mason Street told our reporter that a store employee was held up at gunpoint Saturday evening in an attempted robbery.
The worker said the suspect was a black male wearing a camo hoodie.
As far as we know, Harrisonburg Police are still looking for the suspect. At this point, there is not immediate danger to report.
Harrisonburg Police are investigating a robbery attempt in the city.
The investigation is taking place near the 300 block of North Mason Street.
We have a crew on the way to the scene for an update on what's happening.
