Harrisonburg Car Dealer Pleads Guilty to Not Reporting Taxes


The owner of a car dealership in Harrisonburg has pleaded guilty to lying on tax forms and owes more than $500,000 in taxes.

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- The owner of a car dealership in Harrisonburg has pleaded guilty to lying on tax forms and owes $560,648 in taxes.

Boris Caballero, is the owner of Boris Auto Sales in Harrisonburg.

We were there in March 2012 when police raided the dealership and members of the Department of Treasury removed boxes out of his business.

Caballero didn't report all of his income for four years from 2007 to 2010, according to court documents.

He faces three years in prison and will be sentenced in September.

Caballero is currently out of jail on $10,000 bond.
